2nd Official Update

11:45 am - Just heard from the waiting room attendant. At this point everything is going great. The doctors have finished performing the cranial flap procedure. For those of you that are a little unsure about what that means, here is an explanation, with my limited knowledge.
The cranial flap procedure is a process that peels back the skin covering the back portion of the skull and exposes it. From this point they can cut out a piece or pieces of the skull to use in the forehead and other areas of the face for additional bone grafting procedures.
So, at this point, that section of the cranial structure has been removed, and the Neurosurgeons are beginning their portion of the procedure.
Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers through this... It is what helps fuel Cari's resolve to see this through.
